SNAP is the local and regional advocate for the most vulnerable people living within our community. With a dedicated board of directors, staff and volunteers, SNAP diligently searches for long-term solutions to eliminate poverty.
THE ARC OF SPOKANE
Spokane County is home to approximately 7,000 people who have an intellectual or developmental disability. The Arc of Spokane believes that having a disability should not prevent someone from enjoying a rich and meaningful life. A volunteer-based, non-profit agency, The Arc of Spokane works to ensure that people with developmental disabilities in our community, and the people who care for them, enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
Valleyfest, a non-profit organization that began in 1990, produces an annual three-day community festival in September. A volunteer-driven work force strives to plan, produce, and advocate the finest cultural event in the City of Spokane Valley.
IGNITE! COMMUNITY THEATER
Ignite! Community Theater is a diverse group of people who have united to provide an alternative theatrical choice. Ignite! hopes to spark curiosity, strike interest and kindle hope for what local theater can do to enrich our community.
